Greater Colorado Law Student Experience Program for Northern Colorado

Our Weld County Bar Association- along with members from the 8th, 13th and 19th Judicial District benches, Larimer County Bar Association, and local cities have been meeting on a project to get law students imbedded with our judicial districts during the summer. This program is centered on introducing students to the life and legal practice in Colorado rural communities. The hope is to expand the number of attorneys willing to practice in geographical areas that are experiencing a need for representation.

We will be discussing if WCBA wants to be involved in this program as not only participant but also as a sponsor at our next meeting at noon on September 20th at the Weld Courts Jury Assembly. We will also have a presentation on Use of Force for 1 CLE.
